OUR HISTORY

Futuro Group is the operating business of the ASX-listed RBR Group Limited (RBR), headquartered in Perth, Western Australia.  Futuro Group helps companies establish, operate and grow in countries such as Mozambique by delivering robust local and expatriate staffing solutions, internationally-accredited training & assessment, and functional business administration support. 

The Futuro Group’s vision is to be the leading provider of local staffing solutions in our target market.  We recruit, train and supply skilled, fit-for-work staff to our clients every day.

  • 2013

    Pacmoz Established

    Futuro Group commenced operations in Mozambique subsequent to the 2015 purchase of local company Pacmoz, Lda which was established in 2013. Pacmoz began as a business consultancy specialising in company registrations, licences and permits, accounting services and payroll.

  • RBR Registered as Training Organisation

    Around the same time, RBR bought an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 52289) which was re-branded as Futuro Skills.  Futuro Skills is required to uphold the highest international standards in governance and quality in order to maintain its accreditation – these high standards have been applied to all Futuro Skills activities globally and were instrumental in the fledgling training company securing contracts with blue-chip clients and NGOs in Mozambique.

  • 2016

    RBR Secures Australian Labour Broking Licence

    PacMoz secured a Mozambican Labour Broking Licence in 2016, enabling it to extend its portfolio of services to include Recruitment and Labour Hire.

  • Contract with UK's Department of International Development

    In late 2016, Futuro Skills secured a contract from the UK’s Department of International Development’s (DFiD) JOBA Skills for Employment (S4E) Fund, to provide basic construction skills training to around 100 disadvantaged youth.  Our students used their new skills to build Futuro Skills’ world class training centre in Maputo.  Such was the success of this initiative that the training centre was inaugurated by HRH Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, KG and the Governor of Maputo province, Mr Raimundo Maico Diomba.

    Futuro Group Establishes in Guinea

    In 2017, Futuro Group established training and labour supply capabilities in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa, with the aim to service the rapidly expanding mining industry in the country.

  • 2018

    Futuro Secures ECITB Accreditation

    Futuro Skills became the first Mozambican training organisation in Mozambique to secure accreditation from the the UK’s Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB), in 2018.  This accreditation covers the International Health & Safety Passport courses, as well as five ICE technical disciplines (non-critical welding, scaffolding, rigging, steel erecting and pipe-fitting).

    Anadarko Issues FID for Area 1 LNG

    Today the Futuro Group and its customers benefit from the strong and cost effective local capabilities combined with the financial strength and international governance standards offered by the RBR Group.
